Kara-Leigh Bird

Kara graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2020 and spent two and a half years in small animal first opinion practice in South Wales. Following this, she joined the team at Vale in 2022 as a rotating intern. She has a particular interest in surgery and is starting her certificate in small animal surgery in 2023. 

Kara lives in South Wales with her two German Shepherds called Albie and Eira and her rescue cat called Twiglet. In her spare time she enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors with her dogs and going to music events.
