Lucy graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008. She then worked for 11 years at a large referral hospital in Surrey where, after 6 years of clinical nursing, she led a large team of veterinary nurses for 5 years. During her time there she gained a Graduate Diploma in Professional and Clinical Veterinary Nursing and the level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
In December 2019 Lucy relocated to the South West and joined us at Vale Vets and Vale Referrals as Nursing Manager. Her main areas of interest are anaesthesia and emergency and critical care, as well as the progression and development of registered veterinary nurses. Lucy also finds time to lecture to veterinary nurses in both clinical veterinary nursing and management.
Lucy lives locally with her husband, their lovely elderly black labrador, Carys and their very naughty red fox labrador, Tesni.
