We have been really lucky to have a fantastic Locum Vet called Julie working with us this week covering some holiday in the team. She brought the totally gorgeous Dotty who is a RSPCA rescue with her who has been keeping Katie our Practice Manager company in the office.

Dotty is a Chinese Crested Dog & is one of several hairless breeds & comes in two varieties: true hairless & “powderpuff”. This unusual dog was first bred in China at least 2,000 years ago & was introduced to the rest of the world by merchant seamen, who used it as a means of controlling rodents on board their ships.

Katie is currently plotting how she can smuggle Dotty home without Julie spotting!
