Staff Spotlight - Danni Newport RVN, NCert(AnBeh), PHC, CertNut,
Danni is our most experienced Veterinary Nurse, having qualified more than 10 years ago & she specializes in nutrition & behaviour. She has a Nurses Certificate in Animal Behaviour & has attended many other courses on various topics of behaviour & training. Outside of work, she is heavily involved in dog training & agility.
Danni runs our very successful Nurse Clinics where she is on hand to offer advice on a range of preventative health care including pre-pet advice, puppy & kitten club, weight clinics, senior pet checks, diet & nutritional advice, as well as behavioural or training advice.
Danni also runs our increasingly popular “Confidence Clinic”, which is a training programme for dogs who are worried of the Vets. The aim is to increase the dog’s confidence at the Vets using positive reinforcement. Having noticed a rise in the number of anxious or worried dogs at the Vets, Danni is keen to help these dogs & their owners before their fear gets so bad that their health care is put at risk.
If you would like to see Danni for an advice clinic or to discuss an area you’d like help with about your pet, then please contact the Reception team on t: 01275 847400.
We are fortunate at Vale Vets to have an amazing team of committed, talented and enthusiastic staff.
