Vale Vets Update

Posted: 13th June 2020

If you've visited us recently you will be aware that we are still not letting people inside the practice. This is while we try to put measures in place to ensure the safety of our staff and our clients. Our waiting rooms can get very busy and we are still organising how best to proceed in the future. This means currently we will still be asking clients to book appointments in advance, ring when they arrive, wait outside or in their cars until their animal can be assessed by one of the vets. We will also still be trying to triage as many patients as possible through video or phone consultations.

If you need repeat medication, flea or worming treatment, food or your query is not urgent, please continue to email us at Our email is being checked regularly by a member of the team, and most requests are actioned within 48-72 hours.

We are starting to work through the backlog of patients who have had their booster vaccination delayed and we should be contacting you in the next few weeks if this is relevant to you. If you have not heard from us and your pet's vaccination was due over three months ago please email us. To allow the safe spacing of these routine appointments we may still ask clients who have vaccinations due shortly to delay them slightly.

Barks & Bubbles dog grooming is now open again & our groomer Abbie is working hard to get through her cancellation list. We are fully booked until July but we have our new groomer Julie starting then so please email the team if you want to book in.

We are now able to take payments via our website. This is to help make payments quick & easy especially when our phone lines are busy. Please visit: Online Payments

Please be patient as our phone lines are still very busy. Thanks for your continued support it really means a lot to the team
