Bethany Willis Montague

Bethany graduated from Abbeydale Vetlink College in October 2014, whilst working in primary care practice before moving to a busy referral centre. For the past 6 years, she worked within the internal medicine department before basing herself in an ICU and ward's role. Bethany then joined us at Vale Vets and Referrals in December 2023 as a referral nurse.

Her main interests and passions are inpatient care and critical/intensive nursing along with internal medicine. To support this, in March 2020, Bethany passed her certificate in emergency and critical care after studying for 18 months.

Bethany loves being a veterinary nurse and working within a team that comes together to help improve the care and welfare for any animal that comes through the door. She attributes her passion to this teamwork and care. She states that veterinary nursing has always been a passion and is pleased that even to this day, the joy and fulfillment she gets from helping the little souls she cares for still brings the same amount of joy as when she first started.

Outside of work, Bethany lives with her husband, scruffy Cairn Terrier X ‘Unni’, 2 chickens and 3 pet apricot call ducks who she hatched in an incubator! She is also a keen baker, in her spare time, and enjoys hiking and exploring new places.
