Claudia Bartman

Claudia joined Vale Vets and Referrals in 2021 as a day hospital assistant having previously worked in a boarding kennels. She started her student veterinary nurse training in January 2023.

As a student nurse, Claudia is currently focused on studying for exams and college assignments but has a large interest in internal medicine and wound management care. She enjoys these areas as she loves case investigation and the thrill of emergency and critical care.

The best part about her job is providing the love, care and attention to the patients when they are feeling their worst. She enjoys focusing on creating a bond with her patients so she can maximise a positive recovery period for them.  Claudia loves the magical feeling she gets when she sees a patient progress and leave the hospital after a long fight to get better. 

In her spare time, Claudia loves cooking and going out on wintery days, walking dogs. She also used to be a swimming teacher and loves to swim still, to keep fit and healthy.
