Kayleigh Kingscott

After training at Hartpury and Abbeydale college, Kayleigh qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2009 and worked in many referral hospitals in the Southwest area before eventually becoming an emergency and critical care nurse for Vets Now.  

Kayleigh joined Vale Vets and Referrals in 2022 as a referral nurse before becoming a night nurse in October 2023 after returning from maternity leave. She has a particular interest in complex anaethesia, ICU, nursing critical cases and patient care. Kayleigh is currently working towards her emergency and critical care certificate. 

Her favourite part working as a veterinary nurse is caring for unwell patients and seeing them get better and go home. She loves animals and never knowing what will happen during her shift and the diversity of the role. 

When not at work, Kayleigh loves attending football matches as a Bristol City supporter and attending festivals, gigs and live music. She enjoys coffee dates with friends, spending family time with her three children and has a dog called Theo (an ESS X Labrador) and two guinea pigs.
